Nintendo’s new StreetPass 3DS games made more than $4 million according to a recent interview between company President Satoru Iwata and Tokyo Keizai Online. The text was translated and posted by Siliconera.
Iwata did not elaborate on the number of downloads per region, but he mentioned that more than 200,000 people bought the paid-for apps since release. The four StreetPass game, released last month in the US, can be purchased individually for $4.99 or as part of a $14.99 bundle. The games also include new hats and Mii outfits for players to unlock.
that sure surprised me, thats an easy 4 million right there, nintendo should really think about releasing even more cheap games they are easy money lol
