Well at the E3 one, a new Donkey Kong Country game coming out this year was announced. At the last one before E3, Sonic Lost World was announced. The one before that, Zelda: A Link Between Worlds was announced. The one before that, Bravely Default's American and European localizations were announced, and Earthbound was announced for the NA and European Virtual Consoles. Before that, Mario & Luigi Dream Team. Before that, the Wii U Direct where they announced Yarn Yoshi, Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem, and X.
Nintendo Directs have a pretty good track record. There's always SOMETHING worth being excited about.
