How much do you think Nintendo systems would sell if they were as of high quality as early 360's/PS3's/PS's?

Yes they did. It was for some babies that had scratches on their screen from the bottom screen pressing on it... or something...

Really?  Mine only gets smudges from the bottom screen screen lip that sticks up a little.  Turn your 3DS sideways and look at it.  The screen edge on bottom sticks up more than anything else.  That is where the smudges come from but they can always be wiped off the top screen (from my experience).
