Console gaming would be a lot better. Quite frankly, now that I think of it, online is probably the biggest single reason why I'm not far from giving up on console gaming entirely and just gaming on PC in the future. Online passes, DRM, DLC, half-assed single-player experiences in favor of online multiplayer, lack of offline multiplayer options... No thanks! On PC, I can at least get cheaper games and it's now even that expensive unless I really want to run all the newest games at max settings, and I kind of lost my interest in that years ago. New games at lower settings and older games are just fine.
