If Microsoft buys Sony, then yes. Otherwise no.
But I think the "big console box under your TV" is a concept that may be nearing its end anyway.
I think there will be consoles in 10 years, but it will be like Blu-Ray/DVD players today ... they're still around, but you can see the beginning of the end of it.
You will probably have cell phones in 10 years capable of creating PS4 level visuals and beaming that video signal wirelessly to the television in any room of a house. All you'll need is a wireless game control, no console needed to play games and more and more gaming will be available ala carte through Cloud services -- get your movies, music, gaming, etc. through one cable/service subscription provider (ie: Apple).
