How much would Nintendo's "dead" IPs sell if they made a return?

When I bought my NES back in '87 I had only four games to play until Christmas. I pretty much bought the console for Super Mario Bros and The Legend of Zelda but the other two I chose at the time were Ghosts 'n Goblins (because I liked the arcade) and Ice Climber (don't know why as I had never heard of it before, but whatever).

It goes without saying that Mario and Zelda took up the vast majority of my play time but I actually played (and enjoyed) the NES version of Ghosts 'n Goblins more than Ice Climber. That speaks volumes about Ice Climbers' quality.
