The biggest problem for PS4 right now has nothing to do with similarities in graphics between the two and multiplatform. The biggest problem is that Microsoft is embracing the cloud as a main feature while Sony is not. A lot of multiplatform games will take advantage of the cloud, if not early on later on. This will be the difference between the two, as the cloud will give the X1 advantages for people who play online. Im betting Sony will embrace the cloud by the end of the generation.
As for specs, developers has been saying for months and months they are similar and see no differences. This whole one is more powerful than the other is just fanwars.

The cloud Microsoft has advertized nothing but a pr buzzword. The real world cloud that games will use is much less impressive. Plus, the PS4 can use it too.
Unless you are talking about things from the perspective of the general public, you are dad wrong.

Pr buzzword? Developers has been talking about the advantages of the cloud and freeing up the hardware. Also Nvidia has been talking about this before the X1 announcement and recently has even showed a video on how it works. This is not a Pr word. I gaurantee that Sony will be heavily invested in the cloud by the end of this generation.
We are only seeing glimpes of what it can do, as just like hardware the cloud will progress even further.

Yes Microsoft saying the cloud makes the xbox one 300% more powerful is using it as a complete PR buzzword. Turn10 saying it makes AI 600% smarter is again the same PR trash. The cloud being used for better matchmaking or cooler online interactions? That's real, and has been done by both Microsoft and Sony for years. The stuff Nvidea has been talking about, such as using the cloud for lighting, is still years away and not even designed for a cpu centric cloud like Microsoft's Azure. Sony is already heavily invested in the cloud, they just aren't shouting bs. The main advantage Ms has for third parties is the cost of using the cloud. Titanfall creators have said it's relatively cheap while on PS4 they wouldn't have that benefit.
