I'm probably going to sound like a prick for saying but I felt Mario Kart Wii was too causal and WAY TOO EASY!!!

How's that? Difficulty is practically entirely dependent on your opponents. The more you win, the better your opponent's will be as it tries to match you up with similarly ranked players.

True, aka, who get a hole of the blue shell first. The track was never a problem, it was painfully too easy, what made it hard was the items. Who ever got a hand of the blue shell' your screwed and blue shells spwaned way too much.

I guess that's a better, simpler way of saying it, Double Dash feels way more balance and control better compare to MKWii which feel a bit floaty at time.

Yeah, MKWii's items were pretty derptastic, and 12 players at once made things even more chaotic! Even so, the better racers will win more often than not, though you have to be using an inverted drift bike to even have a chance, which is another issue with the game's balancing, but that's all in the past so I wont rant about it!

I haven't played MKWii in a while so I can't speak much of it's controls, but I don't remember having any problems with the controls in MKWii or any MK game in the series. Any slight differences in the controls between games simply requires some time to get used to I'd think. MK8's controls, atleast from the demo, were looser than in MK7, but I quickly got the hang of it and was able to maneuver how I wanted to. I'd be perfectly fine with it if the controls are the same in the final game.
