Yes you are playing around.  How many people define "know" as "I am friends/close friends with them."
To say to know someone is almost always saying that, friend or not, you met the person in life before at least once.  You know each others names.  Enough to identify the person.  It's like saying "do you know (insert name)?"  You have met the person 10 times in your life, you know their name, their job, what kinds of things they like, etc., but not in detail.  By your definition, you would have to say "No." Because you do not meet and socialize with them regularly.  Do you see how ridiculous that is?  If you were going to say that you don't "know" anyone who plays pokemon, you should have said that none of your FRIENDS play pokemon.  THAT is much more accurate, and I wouldn't have questioned the legitimacy of your claim.

Pretty sure I said I don't know anyone who plays Pokemon or anyone that plays Pokemon that I know of. But yeah, none of my friends or immediate family members including my mom's or dad's siblings' families play Pokemon.

You did not, this is what you said:
"That's just my prediction based on the preorder numbers on vgchartz and its position on Amazon. In terms of hype, no idea since I don't know anyone who plays Pokemon games."

I also said "So, as you see, mathematically, it is very likely that someone either doesn't know anyone who played Pokemon or know of someone playing Pokemon."
