Detroit's homicide rate is 58 per 1000.

or 75 per 1000

It was 7.5 per 1000.  I just had a typo.

Comparing cities to states is a losing battle, vast majority of murders happen in cities.  Miami for example is like.... 35 per 1000 I want to say.
