I have a question for you. Is that what you want to happen? Would you be happier if the PS4 and Xbox One both posted record-low sales numbers?
If that did happen, it wouldn't "Prove that Nintendo wasn't wrong." It would prove the people saying "Console are dead" are right! Their would be a mass exodus to PC and Android/iOS gaming. Is that what you want?
