Just not believing the 600% part at all... sounds like hyperbole.
My biggest problem is how much will this make the AI better. Its actually surprising how bad many drivers are in racing games, so will it take say 20 drivers and say, ah they are going wide on this corner, lets make 1/10 AI cars on the grid do that. Wouldn't it be easier just to code some mechanics to gives cars certain traits. I wonder how useful much of the data they are collecting will be. Just record a few hundred players of different skill levels and get certain traits that you can apply. My issue is that its possibly a diminishing return, the more data you have, the more varied it is, the less helpful it is.
Going to be interesting to see how this plays out though.
