That means each had a gen with better hardware then the other. The margin of how each won is irrelevant.

Trying? Its fact that Xbox was better built and more reliable then PS2. It wasn't a huge gap like 360 to PS3, but it was clear Xbox was the winner that gen in that regard.

If you refuse to see that for what it is, then you are in your own bubble im afraid. Again, try to be openly aware of your own bias, but try not to use said bias to skew actual history.
