The PS4 will definitely have a good opening as well as a good overall holiday, but after the holidays are over I could see it starting to lag in the way that the Wii U did. Maybe not to that horrible extent, but it'll lag, and it won't be some type of miracle console.
However, I don't really know what to feel on the XBO. It'll have a good opening, but the following weeks are still in question for me. I don't see it going either which way. (Although, after the holiday it'll lag just like the PS4/Wii U.)
I don't see any next-generation consoles taking off in the way the Wii did. Not even close.
