At the Reveal, Xbox Support was asked what the limit on Friends was, they said it was 1,000.  At E3 they said, no it isn't capped at 1,000. 

Even if it was limited to 1000 who cares...This is like a dick measuring contest to you people lol.

I'm not the one comparing the number of max friends on each console. I already said even if it was only 200 people I wouldn't care because I still haven't filled up my PS3 friends list. Also regarding your other reply to me, this one is from June 17
