160k for the past quarter may be a shocking number, but it's not enough to put an end to the denial. Just like the blind Wii U fans, Nintendo isn't ready to admit the full scope of their mistakes just yet. There is still the upcoming lineup as well as a price cut. Only once those things fail will reality settle in and hopefully then Nintendo draws the right conclusions from their blatant errors with the Wii U.

If I'm drawing correct conclusions, it seems you think their line-up of games this Holiday won't work. Correct?

They've definitely come too late, and may be less of an impact because of that, but I think they'll do something. Though a jump back like the 3DS had doesn't seem possible. Even with those games.

Edit: I also think that maybe Nintendo feels as though their Holiday line up will make up for these bad 160k shipment moments. So they are most likely in denial, I agree.
