Iwata could be forced aside, but it would be by someone very similar from the Board of Directors (like the guy who used to be President of NoA who they brought back to Japan, possibly for the purpose of being ready to move in if Iwata is forced out)

Are you saying that, if at all possible, kicking Iwata out of the CEO seat would be a good thing?

Edit: I feel as though they definitely need to do something, if kicking Iwata out is not the answer.

I'm saying it is irrelevant. Nintendo is not like Sony, who is more vulnerable to the pressures of international stockholders whereby a large-scale shakeup of the company's leadership due to negative business is possible. Short of large-scale embezzlement or them getting indicted for holding a bunch of twelve-year-olds in their basement or something, there will NEVER be a large-scale shakeup on Nintendo's board.

For better or worse, the company's leadership is quite insulated from pressure of any sort.
