I mentioned it above, but they have some pretty big expectations for sales later in the year (or they did in April, at least), and they would probably have had to produce during this past quarter to reach their quota.

does operating loss include software sales? Sorry im new to this :P

An operating gain/loss is how much the company makes by operating (i.e. conducting their primary business). So, both hardware and software together, along with dues from publishers.

ahhh.. ok cool will be interesting to see because the 3ds software is doing really well, especially digital which is new for them and they get all profits from that.
