I must admit, I haven't really looked at the Xbox One headset, but the 360 one definitely seems very cheap and there is absolutely nothing wrong with it, I really don't see why they couldn't have thrown in a slightly modified version of that, or just kept the port the same

I don't know either tbh, but it looks far better than the PS4's, the sound quality is suppose to be clearer than that of a landline telephone.
