Why do people talk like this on the internet all of the time? No, let's do it this way: why do YOU talk like this? Unless you have factual, official confimation that it is indeed a timed exclusive, then your statement is purely supposition and should be identified as such instead of stating it as a fact and calling Microsoft and EA liars.
Our communication as a species would be so much more effective if we didn't do it in this way ...

The only scenario where these comments are made is one where Titanfall is a timed exclusive. If Titanfall was an exclusive, these comments would not make sense.

For the record, the full quote from EA Vice-Director Patrick Söderlund per Eurogamer (http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2013-06-12-will-titanfall-ever-come-to-playstation-respawn-and-ea-weigh-in):
"We haven't communicated anything on that, and I can't comment on that right now," Söderlund replied, before adding: "We're proud to be exclusive to Xbox."
While short of saying "it's never ever coming to the PS4" (which would honestly be foolish for many reasons), there's nothing commital there to it being a timed exclusive. But I do agree now that it IS a possibility.
