Yep, they went with detailed descriptions on the exhibits rather than him giving a description when you donate. He did make the donating process a little longer but he now doesn't really have that much variation in his speech. They should have given him specific one liners for each donation so he wouldn't babble on but at least tell a different joke for each donation.
