the X1 has unlimited...begs the question, why would you need so many? I currently think the 100 current list is too much for me, I always delete people who haven't been on in over 6months so I doubt I'll fill up all of them. Not to mention the people who are currently on my list, I next to never play/do  anything with them.

i certainly know people with more than 2k friends on facebook/linkin.  i would say that why would you need so many is the wrong question.  the right question is why build a social network that limits a users ability to be social?  i mean, what's the point?  without nsanity and spurge we wouldn't have any friends here.  if you want a social community to thrive you need to support the professional or enthusiatic contributer.

2K means psn continues on as it has -- friend just a few people.  2M means psn has a opportunity to capture the LP crowd and gather celebrity support and maybe even have something go viral.   ..which are kind of the cornerstones of a social network.  sony at some point said they want this to be the "facebook for gamers" but 2K won't let that happen imo.

There's no denying there are people with thousands of "friends" on facebook and so on but I'm wondering do these people actually talk to every single one of those thousand+ people all the time?

e.g I have 130 people on my facebook and I really only talk to about 5 of them.

I have about 50 people on my psn and I don't remember the last time I actively tried to look someone up on there to set up a match for a game.

It's possibly just me but I can't help but feel these numbers are a little over the top.

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.
