Why not? Using the numbers we have here its a perfectly reasonable prediction considering they STILL havent gone through the last shipment.

They shipped ~3.45 Million as of April 1st

They sold 3.3 Million as of July 13th.

They sold ~3.2 Million as of July 1st.

Retailers will only order what they can sell. They wont order another 300k Wii U systems.

In a thread i made a while ago, i said that i wouldnt be surprised to see a 5 digit wii u shipment number (but i came to the conclusion of ~150k), after overshipping for the fourth and first quarter, i am certain that retailers worldwide did not intake 300k more Wii u that would not sell.
