Why would you be allowed to? You buy a license for a piece of software to enjoy, if someone else want to enjoy it they should buy it for themselves aswell.

Ur missing the point, im not saying u can go and sell it to ur buddy or gamestop, rather u could trade it back to PSN, Eshop, etc and get credit for ur next game. Also the game wouldnt then be resold as used since idk if that would even be possible. Basically im juat saying it would help consumers and would also give them oncentive to go full digital which is what all the developers want.

I get your point from the consumers perspective but why would the industry want this? It might help with people wanting to go full digital but how are they going to take away those options later on? Because they don't want you to trade/sell your games.

Also it makes it much more complicated then is needed. Take a look at Steam, it doesn't have any of those options either. If you think a game is worth the price you buy it and otherwise you don't or wait for a discount/sale.

It helps them because digital makes much more profit because they dont need to pay manufacturing, packaging, transportation, retailer costs.
