Since when did Sony keep facts from us? They just didn't restrict us and kept making high quality exclusives. Microsoft and Sony are in no way equal when it comes to consumer thinking.


LoL. Unless of course you buy a game used and want to play online. You need to pay for an online pass right? Sony now has a pay wall for the PS4. 

Just explain to me how they are not equals when it comes to consumer thinking? I'm sincerely curious because I've no dog in this fight. 

Um....Sony already had PSN Plus up, they just added multiplayer to it. I already paid for it willingly. They dont cut you off from the world like Microsoft. I never minded the online pass either as long as I didnt get DRM paywall over it like MS had planned in the beginning which would take a cut out of what Gamestop makes per used game and give it to devs and MS.

So Sony instituted Online pass for their games and MS did not but you do not care.  Just because you like PS Plus now sony has put multiplayer behind the pay wall just like MS when Sony stated during the PS3 era they would not.  What I find is that people are willing to make concessions for the company they love.  What you are saying is that you like Sony, and you are willing to give them a much longer rope before you get upset about what they do.

As for what MS would have done with their online pay wall, nobody knows because it never got that far.  I remember the last thing they talked about when trading or reselling a game that MS would get no cut and it would be between the 2 parties that did it.
