Pretty sensationalist, I must say. Even if these policies were in place, they weren't all that extreme, and there was always going to be the Wii U with none of these policies. Indies always have the PC, and theyd have had the Wii U as well. So there's no way that gaming would have been killed. Not even close.
The only thing people are angry at is that Kinect is in every bundle which jacks up the price. Without that, I don't think people could pick between them, aside from the extra features out of the box for the Xbone.
