it's from the original facebook announcement. Nothing but PR rhetoric. I suggest we wait until we see Wii U footage

Since when have COD games pushed the bounderies of the consoles they are built on? (I guess Wii kinda did)

The engine is "next-gen" as compared to the engine used on PS360 era. However, its not pushing the PS4/XBone to their limits. Plus its heavily scalable as all next-gen engines are.

Anyone who thinks any of these engines cannot run well on WiiU is being foolish. COD in particular will likley have very little differences. Certainly nothing that will make anyone care.

I doubt even Watch_Dogs will have much of a difference and it is using the same engine as well. In fact, I think these are the only games confirmed at this point to be using "next-gen" engines on all three next-gen hardware while PS360 are using different last-gen engines.

It'll be interesting to see this first year / first run game differences.

I'm calling it now.

PS4/XBone will be 1080p60fps
WiiU will be exact same game and content but somewhere between 720p and 1080p all the while at 60fps....

PLUS better control options (dual analog and/or wiimote)
PLUS off-tv play
PLUS no need for split screen
