There would be no point in spending money on something only to have it sit there until games come out. I would rather spend that money on games for my 3DS. That makes a lot more sense.

Also, Pikmin 3 isn't out everywhere.

Fair enough, but I think there are enough games to keep people busy until Donkey Kong, Wonderful 101, WW HD and 3D World come out in a few months.  I think Sonic Lost World is coming out this year too.
