They can be compared as two cartoonish games releasing on Playstation systems close to each other, kinda like comparing NSMBU to Mario Galaxy 2. (In which the game for the weaker system also looks better)

Well, sure, if we stretch it to that degree, though I wouldn't compare those two either - very different expectations of each engine. But even then, it's not a vast, graphical, difference in favor of either previous gen title (and fits in with what I'm saying about last vs first).

I disagree, I think Puppeteer and Galaxy 2 have a very clear visual edge over Knack/NSMBU respectfully. They may have lower screen resolution due to weaker hardware, but their effects, lighting, and style are just so much more eye-pleasing.
