What's your native fruit?  when you harvest your native fruit tree you have to keep an eye out because one of those fruit is a "PERFECT FRUIT" and sells for a lot more in other peoples towns who don NO share the same native fruit as you.  and for example if you produced a perfect orange and your native fruit was orange and someone planted it in their town whose fruit is native apples.  The perfect fruit tree will only bear normal oranges.

My native fruit is apples. Not sure if that is rare or anything. So I have to visit other people to get them :/. That's a nice reason to go to someone's town. "Hey buddy I am going into town to get fruit k?" That's how I feel about this situation. I guess I can share too! haha. Just don't chop them down and take them >:(

Also I read about that. I have not bothered with that. I just eat any apples I get since they are so common and not worth selling.
