Not at all.
I owe them because their own ancestors sold them to the same people that bought my ancestors? I'm Irish I don't think so..
I would say a lot of that would come from not knowing any black people. I've known quite a few.
Funny thing happened to me once. I was helping out my neighbor who was black. He needed a ride to the VA to get his meds. His grandson wanted to go with us. On the way there, the little kid starts asking me why I drive a Honda when White people are all rich and own everything. His grandfather, literally jerked him out of the back seat and beat his butt for it. I wasn't offended by what he said at all but his grandfather was furious. Said I worked just like any black man did and I didn't get a free pass and it wasn't right of his son to pass such knowledge on to his kid because it was ignorant, racist, and a flat out lie. I don't think what the kid said was racist, just misinformed. Any way he was intimidated by Whites through false assumptions.
