It could just be because you can play these wii games on both the wii and the Wii U. So maybe sales are higher because of that. Although I kind of doubt the Just Dance 4 game is an example , since I believe the Wii U has a version of that as well.
In all honesty I bought just dance on the wii for my wife because it was ten dollars cheaper than the wii u version.Theres no big deference with both titles so why pay more! So that does happen but also large install base of 100m compared to 3m is more to blame and if you think this is bad wait tell ps4/x1 are on the market for 8 months! I think ps3/360 will be supported alot longer than any gen before it unlike the wii witch has been dead for a while now with little to no support.
