and what would be the issue if it's win 8 kernel running ???? every game on PC run on a win kernel..... it would even make more sense for devs since it would mean they could release on XB, PC and WP quiet easily, as long as they have access to the full hardware resource I don't see the issue there ???

Because they wouldn't have access to the full hardware resources.

Anyway if it is just Win8 apps it still would be pretty great for indie devs, it's just not the feature many of us are expecting/wanting/hoping for.
