Well thats just not correct. Xbox is prevailent in countries beyond US and UK, just less in number compared to PS. But even then mainland europe and japan are the biggies. So really, to make things as simple as possible: Price, Europe and Japan.

I really take issue when people say "inferior" spec wise. As if that impacts quality in the games. Please tell the Wii, DS, 3DS, and PS2 that they had inferior specs....like it matters. With the graphics level Xbox and PS have at this point, it isn't going to be big at all, multiplats will be more or less similar anyway.

So really, the rpice, and Sony brand power are its main weapons, the only ones that matter. Like the mass market person reads into specs and esram lol

I dunno, if it were up to the mass market, they would only buy the iphone and not touch android
