mario party 8 was the first mario party i play and i've got to say....i loved it. i have no idea why this game receives such hate from gamers and reviewers but obviously you're missing something. i'm guessing it's friends that you're missing cause when me and my friends play this game it's awesome. i tried playing it alone and it was lame. try getting some friends together who are willing to give the game an honest chance and you'll probably love it too.
