People have very short memories, so they'll forget the issues they had with MSFT in time (it is already happening), and with that price drop it should put MSFT in a better position. There are those who are slightly more interested in the software lineup for the XB1, but due to the price they have opted for the PS4 instead. I'm inclined to think some of these people would shift their stance if a price drop occurred before launch.
