Before watching the movie I'd seen two episodes of the show. One of which being "The Train Job", which was by far the worst episode in the series (that's the one Joss wrote to prove to Fox that he could dumb things down and make it a straight space western). The movie is what made me fall in love with the characters and their universe.
I just wished I'd been there from the start, as it would have been great to have been a part of the movement that got that movie made.
