You could have this same cynical attitude about the 3DS to find to throw a caveat in front of its good games. It's sad.

I don't understand the point you're making? My attitude isn't cynical, I even said multiple times I'll likely buy a PSV end of life, even if for only a handful of exclusives.

So why insult me? Do you insult everyone who has a different opinion then you? I accept that you love the Vita for the reasons that you do (playing PS3 games, and PS1/PSP digital titles). Can't you accept that a more traditional gamer such as myself is underwhelmed by the Vita?

PSV has very few good games IMO, that's why I'm underwhelmed. Please don't be rude.

I'm not really insulting you either. You're taking what I'm saying personally rather than just reading it. Someone puts a list of games they like and instead of saying I'm not interested in those, you decide they suck or are just average without playing them (thus the irony on calling another ignorant).

And as ironic as your post is, I've yet to play a single PS3 port, enhanced or otherwise. And you also assume that I adore the Vita which really isn't true. I do like the handheld a lot and have enjoyed several games, but to say I'm completely satisified with it would be a lie. 3DS is in the same place, but that may change now that I'm finally getting to play some of the newer releases.

If my tone is at all negative, or cynical, it's because people keep telling me that my opinion is wrong, and invalid, despite being grounded and based on real facts.

You're not insulting me, I just felt that last comment was a bit rude, I did take it personally, sorry.

I said most of those games are average because of their metascore. Most of the games mentioned, which you are refering to, had scores in the 70's, some as low as 71. Even Uncharted only got an 80, where the PS3 versions typically score 90+.

How do you know that I haven't played a single PSV port/enhanced remake? I belive I stated before that I have played PSV in store demos.

Damn it. I had this big block of text typed up and I accidentally refreshed and it got wiped away. Here's my cliffs notes ()

1. There's disconnect because you place value in reviews and metacritics scores while I ignore them. A lot of favorite games have scored poorly on metacritic for one reason or another and there's been plenty of terrible GOTY contenders that get 90s.

2. I don't consider playing a demo of something a qualifier to give a final say on the quality of the game. I have no idea on how much time you spent with each game (that would creeeeeepy), but I'm just going off the information you supplied. There are exceptions where a game is so broken or messed up beyond all hope, but these are not these extreme cases. If I didn't enjoy a demo, I wouldn't call it a bad game, but that I didn't enjoy it and I'm not interested in buying the full game. I'm not qualified to review it with the short amount of time I spent with it.

3. Ironic only because I would consider someone stating the quality of a product or service they haven't experienced by using another's opinion as the reason for the view as ignorant.
