What is ur definition of dominating? Beating the competition by a comfortable lead is how I define it, ur implying it needs to sell over 50% of total sales in japan

My definition? Wii sales was close to dominating... the 3DS hardware sales was dominated most weeks in Japan this year... it is a pac-man graph and not below 30% (if you added all publishers I can't see Nintendo with more than 20%).

Well I looked up the actual definition

dominate - be larger in number, quantity, power, status or importance

This defines what Nintendo software is doing. Its sales are larger in number to any other publisher. When speaking of dominating u dont combine all the competition. Thats like saying that a world champion boxer who beats every challenger isnt dominant because he cant beat them all at the same time.
