PS3 had closed the gap a little bit before those games were released. Wii outsold PS3 like 6 to 1 in June or July then got outsold for a whole month in November and there were no shortages in Japan at this time. I should have said the Wii is having such good sales currently in Japan because of these 2 games. |
Are you going to keep ignoring the reasons for that temporary November surge on PS3 sales? Are you going to keep acting as if it was anything more than a temporary spike which always accompanies price cuts and new models (in this case both at the same time, besides all the other stuff I listed above)?
The fact is that the PS3 never had any momentum in Japan. Even the 360 managed to outsell the PS3 for a week, and no one is saying the 360 had momentum.
