It sold at least 200k retail in Japan (250k on the numbers we have here). "Best" or not is debatable, but it was a pretty rousing success for what it was. Would be the third best selling Wii-U game in Japan had it made those numbers on that console (which obviously, it might not, install bases at all. I'm just trying to illustrate the point of what they'd potentially be turning away by not allowing these games).
(Although I question whether it's actually "indie". Japan Studio had some input into the game. Although that opens a whole other can of worms I suppose)
