hmm yeah it is not possible to run character models of that quality, in such a fast paced game, with that level of SFX and particle effect at 1080p 60fps on current gen
So even if people don't find the graphical look next gen it is still next gen from a technical standpoint since it is not achievable on the current gen hardware... I think that's hardly debatable since it is not opinion based but based on facts.
