The Xbox One UI shown in this thread is the "home page" section whereas the PS4 one is the "whats new" section. It's not exactly a fair comparison, but it's what I expected from the OP.

That sounds like you are justifying why the Xbox one looks better.  Very gracious of you.  (That ad was cheesy though) 

Actually I don't think any of them look "better". Not to mention it's not a fair comparison. The PS4 one looks cluttered and messy because it's actually the "whats new" section of the UI whereas the Xbox one is the main page.

With that said, from what I've seen of the Xbox and PS4 UI in other images, I think they both looks fantastic. Easy to use/fast navigation. I don't plan on staring at the UI for hours, maybe you do but I don't so it doesn't matter to me what they look like just as long as they are simple/fast.

Also, I didn't deny the ad was cheesy so...yeah.
