pretty sure you can turn it comptly off also the listing thing for the words "xbox on" are only when its in that stand by, sleep mode thing

I am pretty sure if a device is listing it is listening to everything and "xbox on" turns on the xbox, but the kinect is on always listening so what is done with that data...the question is why you should care...everything is monitored these days moving closer to police state.
I really don't care but hey some people do.
then again I am a minority so maybe I should care
