I was merely providing my thoughts and opinions on why the OP list wasn't compelling enough to sell me on having a 3DS. As a reference point, I then provided a little bit of info as to why I choose the PSvita and mentioned two types of games that I like which aren't common on the 3DS, primarily FPS...nothing more, nothing less :)

I'm just confused about what you DO like to play in that case :) seemes to be a quite limited selection.
You pretty much dissed a ton of genres in that first post. But yeah, an FPS machine it is not (unless you count that metroid game that worked kinda well).
The problem with the vita fps'es was that they got like no production value so they had to make the best of that limited budget.. but that's a whole other story.
my initial reaction to your list was "wth? you like nothing?" :P just had to comment..
no disrespect ofc. (don't think you took it that way either so) we all like what we like, nothing wrong or right with that :)
+1 that you like ace attourney though, that is some good stuff right there :)
