Always had problems with C stick on wired controllers. C stick would mess up and lean to one direction (noticeable on Melee character select screen). I switched to Wavebirds and never had a c stick or b button stick issue again. I seriously had terrible problems with wired controllers on GC. I shipped them back to Nintendo at least 2 or so times. Not sure what the fuck was up with that but I was highly unlucky with their wired controllers.
