That would be cool to see an upscaled port of Suikoden I and II for Vita. I don't see this happening because this was a 2006 PSP game, but I hope it gets a retail release, Star Ocean 1 & 2 for PSP were great.
Anyway, I down play for a lot of reasons, mostly because I'm disappointed at the PSV now that I play PSP:
- Not of fan of digital releases, Altelier should release as a physical copy, and I'd much rather play the original version of the PS1/PS2 game if no retail PSP/PSV game exists - I want to see the Vita release some AAA new games. Jeane D'Ark, Crisis Core, and Gran Turismo were such good games. I want to see Vita be just as good as PSP - I want to see more HD ports, like PSP saw - If Vita falls, Nintendo reigns supreme, and 90% of the Vita exclusives would just go to Nintendo, defeating the need to own 2 handhelds.
So in the end, I rip on Vita because it could be so much more. I'd much rather condone the system for not living up to my expectations, then praise it for having PSN, and living off that.
I play games, for the games. So Vita doesn't appeal to me because I can just play all those games on consoles. I have other handheld games in my backlog, it's not like I beat all my handheld games, and need to resort to console ports to enjoy handheld gaming. I will pick one up, maybe in 2020, even if it's just for Uncharted and Gravirty Rush atm, but the Vita could have been much much more.

Mind you, when Vita see's Gran Turismo, my opinion WILL change. That and a couple unique AAA JRPG's.

You didnt see the second and third links did you? There is a 2012 release of a Suikoden game for the PSP. The Suikoden 1 and 2 part was just in reference to you saying that the DS is the only portable to have a portable Suikoden ;p.
Anyways my point to the second half was: You have every right to rip the Vita but my question was why in this thread which is just to talk about the games that are offered to people. If you want to downplay the system itself - there's been plenty of threads in the past few months talking about the issues of the Vita.
@bolded/italic/underlined - So you do want the Vita to fail :/ that is really horrible - oh well. Anyways I doubt even 50% would go to the Vita 3DS, they just wont be made or will be released on other platforms other than the portables.
Anyways no point in explaining anything more to a person who seems to be clearly bias so I'll be taking my leave off from this thread :/

I saw the 1st and 3rd link, lol, 2nds has the 2012 release date.
As for your question....OHHHH, well I came to give my 2 cents, and the games in the OP were the arguement for me not to have a Vita. All PS3 ports, or 3DS/PSP Multiplatform games, with the exception of a couple games.
Mind you, someone else did say it's nice playin these games outside the house, and I agree. Disgaea's structure is better suited to portable play, so when I do buy a PSV, and if I like Disgaea 1 & 2 on PSP (I'm not sure if I like it after playing it a few hours), I'll get those for PSV over PS3.
Also, I'd rather have Vita succeed, but I believe in tough love. If sony can't put out, then I'd rather have them get out. I also want the One to fail too......but that's probably not going to happen because MS has money.
If Vita did fail, a lot of Vita project would go to PS3, that's also acceptable. Just 90% of the games would go either 3DS or PS3. The few exceptions are Sony published PS1 JRPG's, and the small 1st party lineup Sony has. If PSV didn't exist, and Suikoden or FF Type Zero did have serious localization plans, it's likely they would have been made for the 3DS.
Everyone is biased
PSV just doesn't suit me since for the most part, it's just a portable access to PSN and some PS3 games.
