Had Man of Steel not been such a borefest with boring characters and story and execution, covered in 50 shades of grey, then I would have had something to look forward to with this announcement. Now we have 2 gritty, grounded in realism, very serious, very boring characters in a superhero combination which should have been colourful and exciting. Christopher Nolan is ruining DC Comic Heroes by grounding everything in reality and grittyness. I don't want a Bourne version of the DC Superheroes and their stories, I want a DC version of them. If they managed to get the balance right with Avengers, there is no excuse for why they couldn't get it right for |
Christopher Nolan isn't ruining anything. He does what he wants based on his own ideal
