Havent heard much complaint about the linearity to be honest. I think gamers have come to accept that some games are linear and other are not. I'm not sure why people have a problem with this though since games have always been linear. Its not like games in this gen started that trend.
I think most people had an issue with the QTE's, which is understandable and based on the vid Nsanity posted id say they need to tweak that mechanic slightly.
And yeah there will always be idiots bashing games just because they are not on their prefered console.
