There are a few factors to consider:

First, the 360 is being eeked out in places and folks buy it. Some places haven't gotten shipments in weeks. MS is creating a demand, much like Ninny does with the Wii, and then will roll out the newer, reliable ones with a price cut as well.

Second, folks are rushing out and buying the best Blu Ray player on the market after the victor has been declared. Maybe they'll buy games for it later ... but right now, they are buying just Blu Ray movies.

Third, it's tax time. And folks are also getting rebate checks - $600 to $1,200 and beyond ... and folks have decided to take the plunge.

With the Sony domination, all I want to see is - the attach rates. If it's not going up, yeah, the PS3 is selling, but not as a console as much as the best Blu Ray player on the market.
